With your support, MedShare continues to:

• Address healthcare needs resulting from the ongoing war in Ukraine, empowering medical professionals with the tools necessary to perform intricate surgeries and enhancing their ability to provide comprehensive and specialized care. Shipments of medical supplies and equipment continue to be a vital component in building resilience for Ukraine’s hospitals and clinics, which are overloaded and under-resourced. In addition to bolstering the efforts of our major humanitarian partners in the region, Razom for Ukraine and Zdorovi, MedShare has also provisioned 48 medical mission teams, such as Ukraine Forward, a volunteer-run grassroots partner based in Boston which sends tactical supplies to the front lines.
  
  
• Provide support for free and charitable clinics in the Southeast affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton to ensure they are fully operational. Given that primary disaster zones tended to have higher shares of older adults and people with disabilities, repairing the healthcare infrastructure quickly is critical to long-term recovery. MedShare continues to expand our support for free and charitable clinics throughout the rest of the country, affording them significant savings on medical supplies and equipment which can then be reallocated to direct patient care.

• Equip medical mission teams destined for medically underserved communities around the world. MedShare was proud to support teams from Heart Attack Ethiopia, which recently treated 91 deserving patients during a two-week mission trip to a healthcare-challenged area of Addis Ababa; Mending Kids, which has mended hundreds of tiny hearts since the beginning of 2024 in Guatemala, Armenia, Tanzania and Cambodia; Global Healthcare & Education Initiative (GHEI), which provided critical pediatric surgical assistance in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda and Ghana; and Bay Area Surgical Mission, which recently traveled to Camarines Norte in the Philippines and performed 250 surgeries, significantly impacting the lives of patients and their families in this marginalized region.
