A Two-Decade Partnership Advancing Access to Care and Humanitarian Impact
For the past twenty years, MedShare has been privileged to partner with Henry Schein, Inc. and the Henry Schein Cares Foundation—a relationship rooted in a shared belief that access to healthcare is a fundamental human right.

What began as early collaboration in 2006 has grown into a strategic, multi-dimensional partnership spanning gift-in-kind medical product donations, corporate philanthropic investment, disaster response support, employee engagement, cause marketing, and thought leadership in global health equity.
Through Henry Schein Cares, the company leverages its global distribution network and healthcare expertise to expand access to care in underserved and crisis-affected communities. The Henry Schein Cares Foundation extends this impact through targeted philanthropic support that strengthens health systems, advances emergency response capacity, and improves access to essential care worldwide.
A Strategic Partner in Global and Domestic Health Equity
Across nearly two decades of collaboration, Henry Schein has been a consistent and trusted partner in advancing MedShare’s mission—supporting both domestic and international programs through in-kind medical donations, corporate funding, and active engagement in shared initiatives.

In recent years, the partnership has deepened in response to escalating global humanitarian crises, including expanded disaster relief support and sustained aid for Ukraine since the onset of the conflict. These efforts reflect a shared commitment to rapid response and long-term recovery in communities facing extraordinary need.
The partnership is also connected to broader sector collaboration, including engagement within networks such as Partnership for Quality Medical Donations (PQMD), helping ensure that medical product donations are appropriate, responsibly managed, and effectively deployed.
Leadership That Strengthens Impact
A defining strength of this partnership has been leadership engagement. David Kochman, Senior Vice President, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer for Henry Schein, serves on MedShare’s Board of Trustees and recently completed a term as Board Chair. His leadership helped guide MedShare through a critical period of organizational transition, including CEO succession planning and the strategic evolution of the organization’s balanced focus on domestic and global impact.
In addition, Jennifer Kim Field, Henry Schein’s Chief Sustainability Officer and Interim President/Executive Director of the Henry Schein Cares Foundation, joined MedShare’s Health Access Alliance leadership in August 2024 following her service on MedShare’s Northeast Council. She also helped catalyze early support for MedShare’s disaster readiness and response programming.
A Shared Commitment in Times of Crisis
Henry Schein and the Henry Schein Cares Foundation have consistently demonstrated leadership in humanitarian response, mobilizing resources during global emergencies and supporting frontline healthcare providers under challenging conditions. Their sustained commitment to Ukraine-related relief efforts highlights this long-standing dedication to crisis response and global solidarity.
Employee Engagement and a Culture of Service

A hallmark of Henry Schein’s approach is its deeply embedded culture of employee engagement. Through volunteerism, skills-based service, and participation in global health initiatives, employees across the company actively contribute to expanding healthcare access and strengthening community resilience—amplifying the impact of corporate and foundation giving.
A Partnership Built for the Future
As MedShare looks ahead, our partnership with Henry Schein and the Henry Schein Cares Foundation remains central to our ability to respond to disasters, strengthen healthcare systems, and expand access to essential medical resources worldwide.
We are especially honored that Henry Schein is sponsoring our HumanKind 2026 event at the highest level. This support reflects not only generosity, but a long-standing commitment to advancing equitable healthcare access and building healthier communities together.
