MedShare Announces John Amat Appointment to Board of Trustees

Healthcare Veteran Brings Diverse Multicultural Background to Role

ATLANTA – June 16, 2025:  MedShare International, a global humanitarian aid organization dedicated to increasing access to health care for individuals and families in underserved communities in the U.S. and around the world, has announced that John Amat has been appointed to its Board of Trustees.

With over 35 years of medical device and in-vitro diagnostic experience in the medical field, John has a rich professional history in the healthcare space and a diverse multicultural personal and business background.

John spent over 11 years with NAMSA (Toledo, OH) as Chief Commercial Officer, leading Sales and Marketing globally. NAMSA is the world leader exclusively dedicated to supporting the Medical Device industry in Pre-Clinical, Regulatory and Clinical trials phases of medical product development.

Prior to his tenure at NAMSA, John led the global commercial organization at Kimberly Clark Healthcare (Atlanta, GA) for over 12 years as Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing. In addition, He has extensive executive leadership and global experience in the international medical products arena as Vice-President of Global Sales and Marketing at Safeskin Corporation (San Diego, CA), first as General Manager of Latin America at Sanofi Diagnostics Pasteur (Paris, France), then as Vice President of the Americas.

Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese with a diverse multi-cultural heritage of Spanish roots from Almeria, Spain, John is currently President and Managing Director of Indalo Advisors, a medical products and commercialization advisory firm.

John is married with three adult children and splits his time between his home in Santa Rosa County, Florida, and Atlanta.
