Chi Ugwu Joins MedShare as Director of Programs

As a member of MedShare’s senior leadership team, Chi will lead the strategy and execution of programs that expand access to healthcare in underserved communities across the United States and across the globe. Working across teams and partnerships, Chi will help ensure that programs are aligned with organizational priorities, operationally effective, and positioned to deliver measurable, sustainable impact.

Chi brings a multidisciplinary background spanning disaster response, public health, disability services, and community-based program development. Through her work with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), she has supported complex disaster housing operations, coordinating across multiple levels of government to deliver equitable and timely assistance. She has also contributed to public health research and community initiatives focused on improving access, inclusion, and system-level outcomes.

Throughout her career, Chi has demonstrated a strong ability to lead in complex, resource-constrained environments, translating strategy into execution while aligning diverse stakeholders around shared goals. She is deeply committed to advancing health equity and brings a disciplined, data-informed approach to program leadership. Her work centers on building scalable solutions, strengthening partnerships, and delivering lasting impact across communities.
