MedShare’s resilience is helping our mission delivery partners save lives.
As MedShare’s FY2025 draws to a close, we celebrate our collective impact and the promise of what’s to come in FY2026.
Greetings. I hope you are well.
As Chair of the Board of Trustees at MedShare, I want to personally thank you for your unwavering generosity and commitment to our mission. Your support is not only a gift—it’s a lifeline for people around the world who are living in crisis, from war zones to underserved neighborhoods right here in the U.S.
Because of donors like you, this past year has been one of profound impact and transformation. Together, we’ve helped deliver hope, healing, and life-saving medical care to some of the world’s most vulnerable communities.
What you helped make possible in FY25:
- $6.5 million in humanitarian aid delivered to 40 countries
- 165,571 patients treated with the help of MedShare medical supplies and equipment
- 4,118 MedShare Clean Birthing Kits distributed, ensuring safe birth environments in high-risk settings for expectant mothers in developing countries
- 200 biomedical technicians and end-users trained globally, increasing sustainability and helping our partners save more lives
- Our year-round disaster preparedness efforts enabled us to respond to devastating natural disasters such as Hurricanes Helene and Milton in the southeastern U.S., the L.A. Wildfires and the ongoing health crisis in Ukraine
Expanding Our Impact at Home
This year, MedShare also took a bold step forward in our commitment to health equity in the U.S. Under the leadership of our new CEO & Executive Director, Stacey Koehnke, we have expanded our support for free & charitable clinics and hospitals that serve low-income, uninsured, and underinsured patients right here in the U.S. With funding challenges on the horizon for many of these charitable healthcare providers, they need MedShare today more than ever.
Already, MedShare has delivered 92 new portable ultrasound machines to 80 clinics across 30 states—offering vital diagnostic tools and improving prenatal care for women who might otherwise have no access to care. In addition, MedShare’s virtual training on the newest ultrasound technology is helping ensure that these tools are properly installed, operating and maintained in order to help enhance sustainability and improve health outcomes for years to come.
Of course, as highlighted in some of the accomplishments above, we continue our focus on delivering surplus medical product to developing countries around the world as well. With your continued support, both aspects of our mission will thrive.
Looking Ahead
As we reflect on the incredible legacy we’ve built together over the last 26 years, we are also energized by what lies ahead: deeper engagement with our nation’s network of charitable healthcare providers, growing strategic partnerships, and continued innovation that ensures the most efficient delivery of our mission.
Thank you once again for your belief in our work and your continued partnership. Wishing you and your family a wonderful summer.
