Karen is based in the New York area and provides overall leadership for MedShare’s Northeast Region, working directly with the Northeast Regional Council.
Karen is a results-driven development and marketing professional who is deeply passionate about ensuring that mission-driven organizations secure the resources and leadership needed to transform their communities.
With more than 20 years of experience achieving and exceeding revenue and fundraising goals for a wide range of nonprofits including social service agencies, cultural arts organizations, and professional associations, most recently as Director of Development for Opera Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska. In this role, she devised and implemented development strategies that secured over $4 million annually in individual, corporate, government and foundation gifts.
Karen attended American University, Washington, DC where she earned a B.S.B.A. in Marketing and was a Dean’s Scholar.
