Volunteers are the heartbeat of our organization. This year, MedShare recognized our most dedicated volunteers at the event:
DR. CHARLES MCDONALD
Dr. Charles McDonald is a pulmonologist in San Francisco, California and is affiliated with California Pacific Medical Center. He received his medical degree from University of Utah School of Medicine and has been in practice for more than 20 years. He frequently goes to Nepal to provide medical aid with the Nomads Clinic.
Sera Bonds is a social justice, grassroots activist committed to working towards balancing the scales of access, equity, and availability in women's reproductive healthcare. She has training in midwifery, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Women's Studies, and a Masters Degree in Public Health. She is the founder of Circle of Health International.
DR. PAULA DHANDA
Dr. Paula Dhanda, CEO and Co-Founder of Worldwide Healing Hands, is an obstetrician-gynecologist affiliated with Sutter Lakeside Hospital. She received her medical degree from State University of New York Upstate Medical University and has been in practice for more than 20 years. She practices at Specialty Care & Surgery Center and was instrumental in helping relief efforts during the Napa fires of 2017.
