In the Atlanta Metropolitan and Northern California areas, MedShare offers several options for the recovery of surplus disposable supplies (e.g. new, open but unused, etc.), medical equipment and new/gently used durable goods.
Hospital/Large Clinic Recovery Program: MedShare works with hospitals and clinics to set up recovery programs so nurses, doctors, and technicians can easily recover surplus medical supplies, which are valuable for hospitals in need throughout the economically developing world. - In-service training
- Donation receptacles
- Regular pick-up of surplus goods
- Clinic Recovery Program: MedShare also works with medium to small clinics that have surplus medical supplies that are suitable for overseas donations. The program is identical to the Hospital/Large Clinic Recovery program, but clinics are asked to pack the surplus supplies into boxes for shipment to MedShare. Large pieces of equipment will be picked up by a MedShare truck.
