On Saturday, May 10, 2008, MedShare received TechBridge’s annual Technology Innovation Award, given by Accenture, which recognizes a nonprofit that has used technology to significantly impact its mission. The prize, which was awarded at the 8th Annual TechBridge Digital Ball, includes services and financial support from TechBridge valued at over $45,500.
To earn this honor, MedShare demonstrated the impact that technology has had in transforming the way it serves communities around the world. MedShare’s online inventory system allows recipient hospitals to create custom-ordered 40-foot containers of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring that MedShare shipments meet the real needs of the recipients.
TechBridge is a nonprofit whose mission is to help other nonprofits leverage technology to better serve the community.
