MedShare is proud to be a charity partner of LIVE Energy Drink. LIVE has pledged to donate 50% of its profits directly to charities including MedShare.
MedShare will receive a portion of the profits of LIVE's Original flavor drink, which supports charities that care for children, protect their welfare, and prepare them for the future.
Children are often the biggest victims of disease, accidents and malnutrition in economically developing nations. MedShare collects surplus medical supplies and equipment from U.S. hospitals, manufacturers and distributors for redistribution to needy medical institutions around the world. By sending vital supplies, MedShare improves the quality of medical care available to children all over the world. To date, MedShare has helped improve healthcare for youth and their families in 72 different countries.
From one of MedShare's partner hospitals:
"Standard care in Ecuador is to warm a newborn not below a medically designed warming lamp, but rather below a light bulb. We recently did this for a child, and the light bulb fell from its stand and landed on the child, causing it to lose a finger. The town hoped we could acquire some other type of equipment. Then your container arrived. The [warming lamp] alone will no doubt save the lives of several newborns each year."
