Please describe yourself in one sentence.
I am a loyal, caring man with a strong inner drive to change the world.

When did you first hear about MedShare?
I had a brain injury from a car accident I had on October 15th, 2009, and was part of the Shepherd Pathways rehabilitation program.  Several of us at Pathways would come to MedShare Wednesday morning to sort medical supplies.  It was fun to come, since I made some good friends in rehab, we would always have a good time.  It was also interesting to learn my new limits, and improve on them.

How would you describe your volunteer experience at MedShare?
Educational and fun at the same time

How long have you been volunteering at MedShare?
Two or three months

What inspired you to get involved?
Since my accident my outlook on life has changed tremendously. I changed my major in college from telecommunications engineer to nursing.   I now realize that the only things worth spending your time on are things that help others.  It breaks my heart when I see someone who is stressed about their own problems.  I try every day not to be consumed with selfishness.  Most people are, and they don't even know it!  MedShare has been a great use of my time. Saving lives and the environment? What more could you ask for?

What has been your favorite MedShare moment or story during your time serving with us?
Nothing stands out; but it’s like a whole new experience every week
