Join MedShare and The Tony Blair Faith Foundation in Fighting Malaria

Imagine that your 17 month old daughter has just contracted malaria for the second time. Unable to purchase the expensive treatment medications, you’ve already exhausted the little resources you have – now what? MedShare is partnering with Faiths Act, a program of the Tony Blair Faith Foundation, to mobilize multi-faith communities to combat malaria and send desperately-needed medical supplies to Sierra Leone, one of the world's least developed countries. The container shipment will include critical medical supplies and insecticide treated bed nets that will build the capacity of Moyamba hospital to address the pressing challenges of malaria. It costs $25,000 to prepare and ship a 40 ft sq container, but the supplies inside the container are valued up to $150,000.
